yeah, i've never seen the mugen in person. i just know that the disclaimer for it states that it should never be used anywhere near water. if it's safe, maybe i'll go with it...when i win the lottery.

I would think that a lot of owners go for some sort of security system.

The Mugen intake sucks in air from the exact same place as the stock ITR intake... I just heard somewhere (Could be complete urban legend) that the design of the Mugen intake facilitates a positive pressure at the manifold, but I dunno if that's BS or not...

not speaking of performance mods, jdm recaros and hids would have to be up there on the list of frequently added to ITRs.

Are you running the OE exhaust?

The OEM JDM 4-1 header will bolt directly to your head, yes.

However, you would need a shorter cat in order for it to bolt up to your OEM USDM exhaust, if that's what you want to do.

A number of people have cats made for exactly this purpose, including SMSP.

If your DC header is the USDM version, you would get a little more out of the JDM header. If your DC header is their old 4-1 header that they don't make anymore, then you already have a decent cheap header and your exhaust has already been adapted to the JDM length of the header.
