How many quarts of oil needed for GSR tranny and what oil is recommended?

How many quarts of oil needed for GSR tranny and what oil is recommended?
I wanted to know how many quarts of gear oil needed for the GSR tranny and what oil is recommended? Or should I use Honda gear oil? Let me know thanks...

4 quarts but you only need about 3.2 3.3. I use 5w30 weight dino oil...works fine in california. The 10w30 the engine dosen't rev as freely.

Thanks for your reply, I think you misunderstand my question, b/c I'm asking about Transmission oil NOT engine oil.
Someone please let me know what gear oil works the better on GSR tranny. THANKS

DO NOT USE MOTOR OIL IN YOUR TRANNY. Use OEM honda mtf or some people use redline mtL. A gsr tranny takes 2.3 qts.

Redline MTL is the best.
and you need 2.3 quarts...so buy 3.

oh gear oil lol. Use the Honda MTF or you can use the Redline oils...Either way works fine.
