Maintenance Required light, damn thing kepps coming on.

Maintenance Required light, damn thing kepps coming on.
I own a 95' Rs, and the damn Maintenance Required light keeps coming on. Since I participated at the drag races a week and a half ago it keeps coming on. Also I am due for an oil change, could that be the dillema??

that light comes on every so often....its a remind to get ripped off by taking your car into the dealership.
to reset it while your car is off.....above your left knee, under the dash, while you are in the driver seat; there is a box with a square button on it. depress the button while starting the car.
