How many miles did your teg go until you needed new brakes?

Good question!
I just replaced front pads and rotors at 70k miles. Pads pretty much worn away, though I may have had another 0.5mm to the screech indicator.
Took the opportunity to install SS brake lines, and switch to ATE Super Blue.
Most of my commute is freeway miles.

I got my teg April '03 and about a week later or so, I got new brake pads and put them on. When I got the car it had about 70-something thousand miles on it and now I have about 114-something thousand on it and I'm just now needing brakes (the whole package- pads, rotors, etc)
EDIT: About 50,000 miles.

40-50K up front, about twice as much for the backs. Little over 100K before front rotors went, 120K before backs were shot. Front rotors wore prematurely because of a frozen caliper at around 100K. Vacuum booster went at 130K. PITA to fix.

 At 95K, I relplaced the fronts, then at around 102K I replaced the rears. Obviously the rears weren't the original pads. <<EDIT: Then again, maybe they were original. h: >> If I had to guess, I'd say the fronts are good for about 35K, rears maybe 45K... but I do a lot of rural and mountain road driving. h:
