ITR intake manifold on B18B

The cost of the manifold/headwork/cams, i'm coming pretty close to the cost of just picking up a JRSC.
and GSR guys, we all know how great ur nice vtec engines are ... I've got an LS, no money for GSR, so stop making me me feel bad!!

You have to consider all the aspects of N/A tuning, cam timing, compression, port velocity vs size, etc. etc. But to run out and grab an ITR manifold right now is going to hurt midrange torque due to the limitations of a stock B18B.
If you're interested in supercharging your B, then consider that JR is closing out the production run of their 45cid blower as I type. Coming to market soon is a new 62cid (cubic inch displacement) Eaton supercharger system. :naughty:
Food for thought. h:

Yeh i realize that theres a lot more to N/A tuning, I just heard from ppl that the longer runners on the ITR actually helped midrange, on a stock setup.
I like the sleeper effect of N/A, but I also don't really want to spend an arm and a leg on my car. And there are so many corners to be cut on engine building, I'm pretty reluctant to let anyone rebuild my engine with a nice N/A setup.
thanks for all your help though, I definately have some food for thought. I guess my bottom line is to get the most power for the dollar, reliably.
