95 Integra Special Edition (Any Thoughts for potential Buyer?)
Hi, New to the forums here and it looks like a great resource!
I have been thinking about buying a 1995 Integra 5 Spd Special Edition
102,000 miles $5000.
Took it for a drive and it was great. Noticed some oil leaking out of the motor (cam seals?) and the tail pipe showed some black soot type stuff.
I have heard these a fantastic cars. Does $5000 seem about right? How long do the clutches usually last on these. What is a fair price?

Actually... that's a decent price. If the engine's in good condition besides the dysfunctional cam seal, and if the body and paint are in good condition, that's not a bad price. I paid 7K for my 94 GS-R w/ 122K miles on it

forever if you (or the previous owner) can drive right.
dont be afraid to haggle him down a little bit.
the cam seal is not an uncommon problem with b series engines, you can replace it in your driveway fairly easily.

I would say thats kinda high.
I bought my 95 SE with 76,000 and it's in absolutely perfect condition. New tires, new radiator, new battery. Hardly looks like a 10 year old car.
