Default Rota wheels: Are they good wheels?

Hi,
I want to replace stock rims on my teg. I looked into Mugen ones
but they are a little bit pricy so I decided to go for Rota wheels.
My quesstion is, are Rota wheels any good in terms of durability (strength), weight, and overall quality?
I know there are some companies that make sh*tty, cheap knock-offs
but I'm also aware of companies that make high-quality replicas that are as
good as originals without premium price.
Any feedbacks/info will be much appreciated.

Rotas are excellent wheels for the price. They'll never be _as_ good as the real McCoy, but I plan to rock some Rota Grids soon myself

i'm sure around half of the board members here have rotas, hell even i do.
they're a pretty high quality knockoff, never heard of a problem w/ em. good investment

yeah i have rota slipstreams, great for the price and very lightweight.

i've had bad luck though, i bent one hitting a huge hole at like 50 mph, and two days ago hit a damn curb and scratched it. but those would mess up any wheel. definately get them, cause if you do mess them up, they're inexpensive to replace.

I think that most Rota wheels are very good buys.

I have bent a Rota Slipstream. But I've also broken a Spoon SW388.

Awesome wheels...got mine almost 4 years ago and theyve held up to potholes, dips, bumps, holes, you name it. Couldnt have been happier for the $380 they cost me.

I have no personal opinion on Rota, but I've never heard anything bad. I've owned Neeper N-7's, Konig Monsoons, Tenzo Sinko-r's, Velox vx8r's & currently I am rocking the Rev Model 6 which looks like the Velox PG5s. I had good luck with all these wheels. So I say go for it, if it sucks sell it to some dumb ass and get something else.
