Default suspension questions

i own a 95 GS-R and i want to upgrade my suspension but im not sure about certain things like what exactly is the difference between a gas shock suspension and a regular spring and shock suspension. Which one is better and why? Also how does the gas shock suspension work.

you're stock shocks are gas shocks, it's gas that keeps the shock stiff...

give us your budget and we can give you a good susp. setup

Integ,

Personally the best bang for your buck by far is KYB AGX Struts and Ground Control co lovers. I have had so many ask me this question and I would recommend it to anyone. You can run a cheaper coil spring but you may want to upgrade to an adjustable coliover. Make sure you do not buy any grey market springs from you local speed shop (ie Max Speed<--- Crap) for half the price. I can give you a hand full of people that are happy with there agx's.

Good luck!

Default Question

what do you think about the Tein Basic damper, i know that it is just a little more money but would this setup be a lot better or is it not worth paying the extra money

Hmmm... I'd like to know more about Integra suspensions as well. I used to have an Accord and I really liked the Eibach Sportline (2.2) and Tokico Blues (non-adj) setup. I was going to get the same setup for my Integra unless I hear otherwise. I don't think its in your budget integra714 though, its probably 650+ for this setup.

Anybody else have some input for Integra suspension?

Well, I'd much rather pay the extra money and get the SS system. Having dampening adjustment is that important to me... gives you flexibility in controlling future suspension upgrades...

tokico blues aren't much of a suspension upgrade, i have em. they're just a small step up from stock, only good if u get a phat hookup on them. kyb agx + H&R or neuspeed would fit your budget easily, or pay a little more of the tein setup
