ive read that the exhaust pipping is 2 1/2...correct?!!? and what is the size of the exhaust tip?! im asking b/c im thinking of buying one for my civic to tone it down alot but i dont want to loose the gains. what do you think?!

 

Stock catback exhaust piping is 57.2 mm to be exact (about 2 1/4 in.) and the diameter of the tail pipe is 76 mm.

 

im going to take the axle back and cut and weld it on and use my hangers. thanks.

 

try buying an exhaust kit with a silencer or ones like the mugen or the new DC where they have a feedback pipe which reduces sound but maintains the backpressure you need. Depends on what style you like. My friend has a mugen on his prelude and it's not loud at all. sounds like a stock eclipse..i have the greddy SP, which is relatively quiet at idle but at higher rpms it screams!!!
