Default Boosting a high milage gsr

Im in the process of having a turbo kit installed in my GSR, and I'm just curious to know if anyone out there has ever boosted a car with high milage. The motor is still in decent condition for having 190,000 miles on it, but i just want it to last for 5k miles while i save for a motor rebuild. Because of the milage I don't plan on boosting any more than 5psi until i get the motor rebuilt. I also got hooked up with a hondata stand alone system with the kit, so I'm hoping that this should also help the motor last longer because of the improved tuning. Also keep in mind that I bought the car from an older women with 150k, and it was mostly highway miles...in my opinion the motor is still running very strong. Let me know what u think

Thanks,
Josh

Tune tune tune, and watch your compression. If your compression is good, just avoid detonation at all costs, and it should be good.

newgsrdriver would be most knowledgeable about this though...

i hope you have a new clutch in there or the stock one will be gone so quick. but yeah, get a compression test to make sure everything is fine and you should be all set. I just turboed my 96 GSR with 104K and haven't had any problems, I'm on 8lbs.
