Well, that's for the whole chapter, ALL those codes. Any one code might be 1 or 2 or maybe 4 pages. Lots of em are simple, like after you verify the wires are intact, you just replace a wheel sensor...

 

According to my Helms manual...

8-1 "ABS Function" has 2 probable causes - 1) "Wheel sensor signal disappears at speeds of 6mph or less", 2) Faulty ABS control unit (the ABS computer)

Yeah, the Helm book says something about broken teeth on the sensor trigger rings, & verify the 4 wheel sensors are OK. But then, replacing the ABS computer is pretty easy. Just -umm- expensive....

 

It seems to have become a more serious problem. My ABS pump started to leak and it seems to have affected my normal braking.

I started to get the buzzing noise a lot when I turned on the car and when I broke, the brakes would make a grinding noise even at very low speeds.

Since I pulled the ABS fuses the breaks seem to be working fine again. Seems that I may need to replace the pump or ditch it all together.

 

i have a 94 accord and i have the same problem. i had the buzzing noise for awhile and a few months back, the noise just stopped. i think i blew the pump. there is fluid in there and brakes are fine, just that the abs light is on and when i try to juper the connector.. all it does is flash the abs light 3 times. anyone have any idea what that means?
