Plus this allows amateurs to race without emptying their wallets. If you raced on the track, your tires, brakes, and engine would be shot to hell after one or two races. If you're rich, build a track car and do it. Or buy an NSX and pimp all the girlies.

I modify my car for the fun factor. Granted I've got more than enough power to satisfy me, but I enjoy working on my car and seeing what it can do on a track. I've yet to do anything to the Integra yet because it's my commuter car, but I've got my "fast" car and my "quick" car.
