rebuilding engine
IS it worth getting your internals balanced when rebuilding a honda engine. Are stock parts well balenced out of packets? HAs any one weighed stock parts to see?

I would assume if you're going to spend all this money rebuilding an engine, and your redline is higher than stock, yes.
If it were my engine, I'd be safe, rather than sorry. Although my opinion probably doesn't mean much, I've never had an engine apart.

As far as stock rods and crank go, I've rarely seen them out of balance on a rebuid where someone wanted them balanced. What other internals are you referring to if any? What are you rebuilding and what is your overall goal of this project, to get it running again or to increase power?

The stock parts are relatively well balanced, in their sets.
Now, if you are talking Hype R parts, those are ridiculously well balanced.
I'd have the whole rotating assembly balanced. Better to shell out a couple hundred now than have a two thousand dollar engine eat itself slowly.
