Default turbo and road trip?

I was wondering if any turbocharged ITR owners ever take their car on a road trip and if it is safe or even reliable to do so?

Let me be more specific...I have a t3/t4 ball bearing turbo. Let's say it starts spooling at 3.5k-4.5 rpm...if I'm driving at 80mph the rpm is around that same range. My question is does the constant spooling hurt the turbo or my motor?

I have stock internals
AEM EMS
FPR, fuel pump
3" exhaust

I'll set the boost at 6psi

you shouldnt be spooling when cruising under a light load. the turbine might be spinning a bit, but not enough to build boost.
