Default What CF Hood do you recommend?

Okay, so today this idiot backed his old ass cadillac into my integra in the parking lot, which tore apart the front bumper and somewhat damaged my hood.

What I had in mind was to fix the front bumper, and not fix the hood, and use the remaining cash to buy a nice CF hood

So which company do you think makes the best CF hood for tegs? Oh and where would I be able to buy one for cheap cost?

Thanks

ive never heard a complaint about VIS hoods. check out www.dptuning.com and tell him James sent you, he can probably give you a pretty good price but you can probably find one cheaper closer to home cuz you wont have to pay shipping.

I've found some G3 VIS hoods on ebay for around $300. They're located in LA, which is pretty close from here so I can pick em up.

Is it a good deal?

$300 pickup is about as good as it gets for VIS. I'd go for it.

I'd be careful with some of those ebay VIS hoods. Not all of the hoods VIS makes are top notch, it is very possible you could get a lower grade hood. If they are close by I'd go check them out and hand pick out a hood.

BTW...I have a VIS hood and I love it.

VIS currently only makes one hood as far as I know...aside from different styles (OEM, Invader, etc). Their old hoods werent the best (we're talking 3+ yrs ago) but since then they have redesigned them and you have the best chance of quality with them.
