Default metalic buzzing noise resolved-I think

A while back I posted a question about metalic buzzing noise that only lasts for 25 seconds from cold start. Well, I disconnected the ABS pump fuse and it still has the noise upon cold start that lasts about 25 seconds. So, it is not the ABS system, besides my ABS dash light never came on. I also checked the heat shield and both the front and the back heat shields are secured tightly. I finally narrowed down to the belts. At least I think where the noise is coming from. I only has about 25 seconds to figure out where the noise is coming from. Again, the noise only comes when the engine is cold. The noise starts exactly 10 seconds after a cold start and will lasts for another 25 seconds and it goes away. Today, I got some belt dressing and sprayed the belts with it. I let it sit until the engine is cold and started the engine. The noise is GONE!!!!! Anyone has this experience with their integra???

When I start my car when it is cold out, my belts seem to be pretty loud at first, not really a metallic buzzing but more like mimicking the noise of an electric motor almost . Are your belts showing any signs of wear, and are they tight enough?

I just bought this car. It is a 99 GS with only 18,000 miles on it. I bought it from a 21 yr old girl. She uses it to commute to a local state college. I think she is upgrading to a BMW. Anyway, the car is in mint condition. You can pretty much eat off the engine block. It is very clean. I imagine the belts are all original. They seemed to be tight. I will know for sure tomorrow when I start her up in the morning.

Well, no such luck! The noise is still there. Not the belts. I guess I will have to take the exhaust off and see. If it is the a-pipe that is making the noise, how come it only does it at cold start? There is absolutely no noise at any particular RPM..I am so lost...............
