If that is a good source of information on this subject, why does any of this matter?

I see no problem with linking to other sites. It happens all the time. There are 1000's of links to team-integra.net on Honda-tech, TI is an example of a site that requires registration to read the forums. People either choose to register or they do not. It's a simple choice.

Unless the mods/admins are prepared to make a blanket statement that any link to any other site is not allowed, I'm going to say that this link is fine and welcomed in this forum.

It is the policy of many a site these days to have to register in order to read the forums. We can't change that - and that should be no reason to not refer to these info sources.
