Default B16a Swap Help!!!

Hey everyone I am about to get a 90 Integra shell and I wanna do the B16A swap on it. The only thing is the car was a automatic!! I know the work I got to do to convert it to manual (I did it on my CRX) But I had some questions? Does the Jdm shift linkage that comes with the B16A will they fit?? (I am hoping they are not to short) And does the JDM mounts that come with the B16A do they fit? As far as I know and from what I am told the b16a1 bolts right into the 90 Acura with no problems just plug and play?? Is this right?? And if anyone has any sites that can be usefull please let me know..thanks

If you get an XSi/RSi swap, yeah, the linkage will work. If it is an SiR swap, no, it'll be too short.

There is no such thing as a JDM B16A1. If you get a JDM first generation B16A swap from an Integra XSi or RSi, yes, it'll bolt in like the stock engine.

what do you mean there is no such thing as a JDM B16A1... every site I been to selling motors label them as that??? Anyway I want to order from Hasport...I have been told I can call them and request the XSI/RSI buthave been also told to watch out because they can send me the 88-91 one instead. Like I said what I got is the shell so I wanted to know if I can order the complete changeover from hmotorsonline.com and will it work..I had a feeling the shift linkage would be too short..how about the mounts will they fit or will I have to go through the junkyards tryna find a good LS mount?? And is there any extensive wiring involved in this swap...I was told you just bolt it in the car and plug the LS harness up and your good to go?? what do you think?

JDM engine codes never end with a number like export engines. Importers often mislabel them A1 because it is a first gen B16A.

I just told you, if the swap comes from an Integra, the linkage and mounts will work fine. Order one from an RSi/XSi.

You need to add wires for VTEC activation, VTEC oil pressure and the knock sensor.

Like I said before..I am not counting on hmotorsonline on sending me the XSI stuff they prolly will just send me the Sir stuff...I am gonna ask them for the XSI shift linkage and mounts but I am not depending on getting them. I already know the Sir linkage wont work...How about the Sir mounts??? And will the regular Ls Integra mounts work?? And execpt for the V-tec all of the in engine bay wiring all plug and play???

Yeah the shift linkage is too short you will need to get one from a teg....as for the mounts I am pretty sure the JDM Sir ones will fit..but I am not 100% sure..
