that's interesting, your little motto on girls and cars... jk. are you sure you dont even want to do some simple bolt-ons? they will improve the performance to the point where you will definitely see a difference. i would recommend just getting an aftermarket intake

Ok, I've to say I'm all confused here. From what I saw in other threads, air intake; exhausting; ground wire etc etc don't really boost the performance a lot, only like 2-3 hps. Or am I wrong?
Thanks about the input, and please tell my more about these "simple bolt-ons", told you, I might be the greenest rookie you've even seen.

Each... so maybe if you're lucky you'll net up to 10 hp at the wheels... but it's fun to put stuff on

so you are saying I'll definitely feel a boost, maybe just a little, but a boost; if I say put in a better intake?

No guarantees, but I think I felt something when I put my AEM SRI in... mostly increased throttle response though.

Honestly, if you're not big into performance or whatever then gettin intake/header/exhaust may be a waste of money. It can cost upward of $1000 for this combination that adds just a little bit of power and mostly noise. If you are planning on doing more stuff later or you just enjoy tinkering and learning about cars then it is more worth it.

it will improve the sound of your car and it will feel zippier. if you know your car well, you will definitely feel a difference and its a lot of fun adding stuff onto your car, it's kind of addicting actually. the amount of money you spend will depend on what brand products you purchase and how many mods you end up doing, it's all personal preference. good luck

Go OEM for plugs and wires...dont even replace your wires unless there not working, i hear of so many people buying new aftermarket wires and then going back to there stock wires cuz they hate the aftermatket ones...

NGK i belive if the OEM specs plugs, they have regular and V-power ones, choose either...

Oil, since its a 97, you should have no problems changing to a full synthetic, go Mobil 1 for this, and stick with 5w-30.

You may want to do a regualr tune up to, fuel filter, O2 sensor, Air filter, etc...
