Racter, I didn't mean to give you a hard time about the facts. When changing your oil pressure switch, did you use a manualfor instructions, or just do it by feel?

 

i dont take it as giving me a hard time i just dont think you understood what i was trying to say my vtec sounds like it starts at 4400 and its secondaire is at about 5800 then the redline was 7000 wich is off am i right?

 

check the vtec plug in the front of the motor by the distributor cap.....it might not be plugged in all the way....make sure you hear a "click"

ok max i unpluged then pushed it back in to make sure it was plugged in before doing this i gave it a small light tug and seemed fine :\ we will see what is going on soon i hope. thanks again

its a Hayne honda acura 94-98 dunno why they didnt put that in there...
