depends if you want to go forced induction or Naturally aspirated. if your going forced induction then I would suggest you buy a dart block and dart head and start building piece by piece for your application (dart block from 81mm to 84mm bore is $2,000 the head $2,000). the spoon motor, I think you have to have an engine for them. they disassemble, build it with spoon parts at closer tolerances and so on. Or you can buy a dart block(for natural aspiration) and order the spoon repair kit from modacar and not only do you get pistons, rods, rings, and crankshaft, but your displacement is increased to 2.0 liter! giving you a little edge over stock. There is so many combinations if you need more suggestions or have
questions, holla at me.

and how did you know that your block was cracked?

I've opted to get a new head and long block from acura, im not a serious racer...ill have my hondata as well as my i/h/e and injectors to bolt on the new block. The spoon assembly without sending them a motor to rebuild was cost prohibitive.

About the crack....
The block is visibly cracked around the sleeve of the number four.

the car had 101000 miles on it , i bought it to drive. So ill be starting fresh and going from there but i will soon be selling the non-damaged parts from the other block, only the number four dropped valves. so you guys watch for that and buy my stuff so this poor college student doesnt have to walk to class anymore Thanks for all of your help
