Spark plug? NGK PZFR6F

These plugs were in my ITR race car when purchased-NGK-PZFR6F

How are they different then the stock type plug? They appear to be quite a bit longer. Would this be a advantage?

Length could be a problem if they get too close to the piston.

I use BKR6E11 whick is an NGK Copper.
