Can I propose a new idea. It's a chance to post any terrible excuse for an R you see. Whether it be chromed out bling blings or vented piggy style carbon hoods. We can use this list as an educational tool to guide our fellow Type R bretheren who are lost in the tuner sauce. I'm not one to judge, I never point fingers but this is sort of what im talkin about.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=5335
Feel free to ad to the list. God bless you posters, and god help these R owners....

Lighten up guys. What you are talking about here is a matter of TASTE. No matter how right you think you are, there is no right and wrong when it comes to questions of taste. It's like arguing that Mexican food is better than Chinese. The only modifications that you should denounce are ones that hurt performance. This car has some nioce wheels and a NOS kit. It would probably OUT PERFORM most of ther cars on this board.
You hard-core traditionalists remind me of the people that swore that Bob Dylan had committed a mortal sin when he performed on ELECTRIC guitar at the Newport Jazz festival back in the 60's; or the uppity snobs that said Miles Davis and Charlie Parker where playing "jungle music" in Harlem in the 50's. These were the common perceptions of the time. They were held up as "absolute truths" by the majority, but in fact they were actually only issue of "taste".
So if you want to say that you disagree with someone else's taste then that's fine, just don't act like you are the ultimate arbiter of truth just because you agree with the majority. Remember "If everyone was a traditionalist there would never be any change".

front the side veiw it doesn't look that bad (I personally wouldn't own one looking like that but still). Don't care for the front or the back bumpers, other than that, its not bad... If I owned it, I'd find less agressive F/R bumper. Though... My favorite look is gotta be OEM. Saw a ITR once at a show... JDM front CW R with CF hood, CF front spoon lip, CF rear OEM R style wing, on 16" spoons SW388, Red Recaro interior.... what else is there to describe...FUCKIN PIMP!!!
Here's a picture of a locals car around here... (not a real R though Looks cool though)
