the boltsers show a color fade due to the material. Is this what you are referring to?

The alcantara can also get crushed, making it appear faded.

A little time spent w/a gentle brush and cleaner can help bring it back. It certainly works wonders on those armrests!

The fade changes due to the material. It is just the fabric being brished over. This is what the material is supposed to look like. Washing it like George mentioned will keep it clean and prevent it from hardening and becoming shiny.
