The actual trunk release is where the trunk latch is and it's mechanical. You'd have to figure a way of getting the trunk to latch while removing the stock release and then hooking up a solenoid to unlatch the trunk. All that could probably be done with an experienced aftermarket installer but Acura/Honda doesn't offer it.
