Has anyone installed aftermarket oil pres. water temp. etc. gauges in the ITR. Looking for good places to come thru the firewall into the interior.

Also....is there really any benefit to exhaust manifold temp gauges? I have never spoken to anyone who is crazy about them.

I think the exhaust gas temp is only useful on turbo/ sc aplications. And normally only race aplications. Not positive though.

 

thats what I'm thinking. I have never encountered any equations for manifold vs. water temp that tells anything useful.. Obviously, for turbo app, the more air you cram into an engine the hotter the bi-products are going to be. Anybody have any idea?????
