I am about to buy a plastic lip for REALLY cheap but it has a really small crack on the bottom. Is there anyway to fix this or would I just be better off buying a brand new lip?

 

You could try bondo and then repainting it.

 

post pics... my type r lip has a slight one at the bottom but u cant see it and it hasnt gotten any larger in the past year

 

go to pet boys there should be a fiber glass repair kit. might work with plastic... dunno if bondo would hold well on a big crack this fiber glass repair kit would probly work the best but its more of a test then a forsure thing if you try this plz tell me how it turns out

 

No, you don't wanna put bondo on a plastic lip, it'll just end up cracking. I agree with Racter...get some fiber glass and use that. Just don't forget to put enough apoxyresin in it so it'll harden. It'll take a while for it to cure out, but when it does, it'll be good as new.
