Perhaps pricing has changed..

It fit my JDM DC.. but I needed the donut gasket.. the OEM JDM is of smaller Diameter.. you would probobly need some type of adapter there.

Actually after reading the site. He now makes a bolt up kit. I had to have all my flanges welded/hangers welded on.

Mike now makes 2 exhaust systems for most Honda/Acuras. The first kit he had is the DIY kit (same as DsR has). This kit comes with the piping, flanges, and hangers. You pick your muffler and resonator and then have everything welded in by an exhaust shop (joints are slip fit). The new kit that just came out is a "bolt up" kit. The joints are still slip fit, but the flanges, resonator, and hangers are already welded on for you at a slightly increased cost. You still need to have a muffler welded on the rear section of pipe, but this system takes a lot of the time/guess work out of trying to do it yourself.

Also means you could bolt up everything but the muffler yourself and then drive it gently to a muffler shop for the final weld, rather than fork out for install fees.

Anyone have any suggestions on quiet 2.5" mufflers? I think I'm just going to accept the fact that I'll be swapping mufflers from street to track use. Anything that indicates performance will leave your carless in short order in my part of town.

Magnaflow makes some nice 2.5" round and oval style mufflers. I think I'll be using a 12636. The 2.5" ES oval muffler is supposed to be nice too.

I've heard that the ES oval is loud. :dunno: Could have been a knockoff.

You might want to ask George what size Magnaflow muffler/resonator(s) Dave used on his car. From what I understand, his is quite reasonable in terms of volume, and extremely "stealth" in appearance. You might not end up having to do the sort of swapping you mentioned, since his also flows very, very well.
