Go grab a Helms manual, it will make your Valve Adjustment a piece of cake.

On a side note, If everything dyno'd out and seems ok, I'd be willing to bet you're just hearing good ole Honda Ticking but now you're paranoid due to the over-rev; and are thinking it's something more than it is.

So my buddy and I did the valve adjusting (pretty easy for a first timer like myself) and now the car sounds better for sure. But, after about 15 miles of driving I still get the check engine light even though the car sounds like its running better. Any ideas? I dont want to take it to the shop cause they'll rape me!

After 15 miles of driving? Right about the same time the car gets to operating temp? My money would be on a bad oxygen sensor, but you haven't said anything about it running poorly...

Gonna have to get the code yourself for us to help ya on this.

Right on. Ill get the code for you but how would I get that? Please excuse my stupid ass questions but I went from racing my truck and fabing suspension and cages ( http://www.giantmotorsports.com/trucks/f01/index.php) to Acura/Honda engines so Im not too familiar with them. Thanks for the help guys.

SuperStar: Wait a minute, what ever happened to your rev limiter? That prevents stupid and/or accidental overreving like this.
