might be a dumb question but i just need to know..
got a 95 gsr..bought it with an old skool apexi megaphone dunk full cat-back...i still like how it looks but its just to loud...was wondering if i put a resonator before the rear muffler...like a glasspack..it will quiet it down..but will i lose out on performance...thanks

Use the longest length perforated-core resonator that you can fit in there for maximum sound reduction without flow obstruction... The 18" Magnaflow resonator that I have on my DC4 works beautifully, and after 2 weeks of commuting, has loosened up nicely. While a little loud at first, it now does a great job at tempering exhaust volume [without impeding flow like a louvered core resonator will]. BTW, also be sure to match the diameter of the resonator to the piping of the cat-back exhaust.
