You do not want to work on the rear lower control arm yourself unless you like a really good and frustrating challenge. All the bolts are typically seized and you must have access to a press if you do ever get the arm out. I doubt that any arm on the market would be prone to breaking but you never know. Why don't you just go the wrecker and get a replacement?

Umm... I did a ebaymotors.com search for "Megan", and all I got was ricer POS like hoodscoops, sparco-ripoff seats, "turbo" mufflers, and 56" aluminum wings...

A search for "Megan" and "control" brought up some control arms, which _look_ OK, but judging by the quality of the rest of the stuff Megan makes, I wouldn't buy it...

And tell me, why on God's Green Earth, would you need new LCAs except to run an ITR-style suspension?

Megan Racing is a ligit company

Take a look at the site meganracing.com

I just bought a rear uper strut Bar from the company, and my friend just put on his megain rear tie bar and it looks great and it seems to be high quality.

Just my take on the company.

The litmus test is to look at their High Flow Catalytic converters. Legit companies sell real cats, and "xTREME performance" companies sell dressed up resonators.

They have dressed up resonators.

I wouldn't buy any of their stuff. If you're looking to get a nice new rear LCA, get SRR... they make quality stuff
