It's generally not good, you might need to get a new oil pan. And as for the dents in the pistons, they're supposed to be there to let the valves open and close, it's perfectly normal. Can't really say much more without seeing the engine

be sure to atleast pull the head and replace the valve guides and bead blast the head. a machine shop will do this before they work on it. also get them to check and see if your valve pleums are turning. if they are get the machine shop to take that edge down. remember if you are going to be taking the valves out the easiest way to do it is not with a spring compressor, its with a socket and an extention. take the socket and extention, place the socket on the valve retainer, take a hammer and give it a firm hit. the keepers pop out and voila.

there is more difference in the chassis, the sway bars are bigger on the gs-r.

the rear is 14mm instead of 13mm :fawk:

the fronts might be the same, cant remember off of the top of my head
