no. thats the beauty of the comptech bar. the tie bar mounts to the sub frame, and then the sway bar mounts to the tie bar. therefore the sub frame wont rip like it would with just a 22mm ITR rear sway.

whoa wait a second, if i use a 22mm ITR rear sway bar, i have to worry about ripping my subframe? is there any safeguard for this OTHER than dropping 330+ on the comptech setup?

yes, get the beaks subframe re-enforcement kit.

where is that available from? my friend sent me a link from team integra or honda tech for how to install the ITR bar on a 94-97 integra etc so i have that covered but i dont wanna destroy my car. glad i looked here before i was stuck on the side of the road.

OR you could just buy the comptech rear tie bar and mount the ITR sway bar onto that.
