GS-R Insurance much more than GS?
I'm thinking about getting an integra. I currently drive a 94 Accord. I'm wondering what you guys think about the insurance difference between that and a 99 GS or GS-R. I imagine it will be a boost but will a GS-R be significantly higher per year than the GS??

I will answer this, since no one else has.
You can check progressive.com to get an idea of what kind of price increase you will see. You may get better rates from another company; but at least you can get a rough idea of what kind of increase you are looking at between the two models, by using Progressive (since it's online and immediate).
Now, to answer you quickly. Yes, you will notice a significant increase in your premium cost. Figure, if you were paying $1500/yr before; now you'll pay $2100 (GS to GS-R).
That's just a guess, a rather uneducated one too, but go give it a shot and see what happends.

It all depends on the insurance company. My old insurance company didn't even differentiate between LS, RS, GS, and GS-R, only difference was the ITR. And I know of other insurance companies in my area that doin't differentiate between the GSR-ITR. You've gotta shop around.

It depends on where you live too. If you live on a farm in Iowa then your insurance on anything will be significantly lower than if you lived in downtown Los Angeles. When you move across town your insurance can change dramatically in some cities. I pay $140 a month for my 99 GSR sedan and 99 Accord LX sedan. 28/married/clean record. Getting married is when your insurance drops. Don't count on any significant drop when you turn 25. It doesn't really do anything. Mine dropped a whole dollar a month.

it also matters if you are assigned to a risk pool, for example 16-20 year old male or previous accidents. i have an accident on my record so no matter what i drive, my insurance is gonna be high. but im 22, and you insurance goes down at 21 a little bit so i have the 2 sorta neutralizing each other.
