GS-R Insurance much more than GS?

i pay 218 a month for full, on a 95 GSR and a 2001 Ford Explore. IT was 168 when i had my 94 Civic Hatch

For me a GSR was $4 more per month than a Civic EX, so it shouldn't be a big deal from a GS to GSR. That was at age 18.

conclusion: It's going to be different for everyone. Only thing to do is to call up your insurance, and ask them to give you a quote. For my case, all they needed was a VIN number of the car I was looking to get. I asked them to replace one of my cars on the policy with the VIN number and they gave me the price difference. At 18 you were probably still living at home on your parents insurance going to school. It doesn't matter where you live in the country because a GSR is always going to be classified as a sports car while a Civic EX will be a normal compact. The difference for anyone on their own policy not going to high school with full coverage (or just liability) is going to be more than 4 dollars. There is a huge difference. I think your numbers are wrong on that one.
