I'd much rather spend $35-$50 seeing if this is a solution to my problem before I drop $350-$1500 for basically a tranny rebuild. Know what I mean?
I agree I would give it a try, as long as you know if it works it will just be a temp. fix for bad synchros.

Anybody know how much of the stuff I need?
There is no "issue" with the gearing. My point was that if you are shifting at high rpm in 4th gear then you are upward of 100 miles per hour (mph). Are you hitting 100 mph so often that a little grind is a real problem?

not necessarily. he could simply be low on tranny fluid now.. anyhow, let us know how it works out, xymox007.

Now I understand what you're saying. And, you're right, it shouldn't be a huge concern, because it's not like I *need* to drop to 4th gear to run up to 100mph+ very often (if at all).

I think's its my overly auto obsessed mind acting up again.

Reno, I'll def. give a full update after I pick-up the GM Synchromesh in the system. (I stll need to know how much I need. Do you know if one bottle is sufficient?)

This is my only gripe with Hondas, their tranny's. Everything else can take the abuse, with the exception of the tranny. I'm not driving the car any differently then I've driven my previous German autos. Though, I do recall getting stuck on some ice in the car wash last week which required a lot of reverse to first rowing of the gear box. Perhaps I caused my own problems when I got stuck?

assuming each bottle is 1 liter, you'll want 3 bottles. if i remember correctly, the tranny takes about 2.5 liters or so.. definitely over 2.

Wow, this stuff is incredible. The "snick-snack" of my shifter has returned, and the 5th gear grind has not!

AMAZING stuff. I applaud this fine GM product.
