Default Unknown switch, 95 GSR

I have a 95 GSR, and i was looking at my pedals to see how hard it would be to put new ones on, and while doin that, i accidentally hit a switch that i had no clue what it was. it is this on/off switch under the steering wheel near all the electronic shit and wires. I dont know what it was at (on or off) before i hit it, and i dont know what its function is. Anybody know? It may have somethign to do with my aftermarket alarm, but i dont know

It is probably a 'vallet(sp)' switch for the alarm system. Seehow your alarm reacts differently with the switch engaged, and not engaged.

The maintenance reset "button" is just that, a button, not a switch.

Try following the wires and see where they lead you. I had the same thing happen to me when I first bought my car. I found a switch that once powered aftermarket foglights.

yeah, if its a switch, not a button, then follow the wires. I bought my car and accidently hit the switch, couldnt turn on my car for 30 mins. h:

it'll prevent accidental alarm trips and ignition kill.
