Default Problems with OEM CD player

Hey guys,
I have a 95 integra LS with a stock CD player that's been giving me problems. It doesn't played burned CDs (spits out Memorex, Fuji, and reads tracks on Imation but doesn't play), and it sometimes can't even read normal music CDs. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem or if they know what CDRs are best for making music CDs it reads and if anyone knows what brand the CD player is.

And for those of you who I know are going to reply and tell me to toss out my old cd player and get a new one, my CC bill this month is $1300 and I'm a jobless college student, so gotta make use of what I have. =)

Thanks,
Will

He can't bro, best thing is to check your wiring, do to an audio place and see what's up if you can.

Hmm... since I don't know jack about checking the wirings, I think I'll try a CD lens cleaner first. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

Try not to use blue dyied CD-R, and get CD-R with something close to silver color.
Also when you make a Music CD.. use lowest burning speed that CD-RW drive
allows.. it will extand the life of CD player lense.
