I currently autocross my 96 Integra LS =)

Where are you located? I know that in Dallas there is SCCA and ER (Equipe Rapide) that run events. Have you visited www.Autocross.com for info? ER's site is http://autocross.com/er and SCCA (Texas ragion) is http://autocross.com/texasregion

I think there was a place called http://www.myautoevents.com that had an onliine calendar of some sorts.. yup.. looks cool.. I hope this helps.

I haven't yet but I am planning competing in some events this year. The closest place to me is Vegas. They hold SCCA events there , I'm kind of excited, I've just got to get some decent tires .

ive seen a couple integras there before. any car is a good platform for autoxing. of course some are better than others. its the driver that gets the good times anyway. so take it more as a learning experience.

i *want to join next season...but that $70 membership fee and $30 per day...i dont think so. maybe i will run where membership is not required, which is about an hour and some away.

Before you modify your car, figure out what you are going to do and what the limitations are for each class. You would not want to get th e car alll set up and then get discourage because yoiu got stuck into a class with peopke whipping your butt :slap:

Default Autocrossing your integra

I have a 2000 4dr gsr...I am competing in the STS class, in San Diego. I have only done three events but I love it. the car does very well in this class, so far, and i havent even done the recommened mods yet. So far i have h/i/e, and heavy 17"wheels w/ very hard compound tires 340 treadwear, and i was within 1.5-3.5 seconds off the top guys. But i am in the process of doing the suspension and a few other things, which should drop my times by atleast 2 seconds, then its all about seat time. Helping me with my setup is a guy who in my region is considered the "King of FWD" he has owned a couple of integ's and know the hot setup...the total amount you need to spend is approx. $5000 thats including wheels and tires. If you want to know more let me know and i will give you the info on what to get and from where. Good Luck!

It all depends where you are located. Where I am, I thought SCCA would be the only league too, but I've since found 4 leagues within an hours drive from me.
