First Post, and a seat belt question...
First off, I don't know how welcome I will be here.
Yes, I own an Integra. She's a 1990 RS. She *may* be the only Integra I have ever seen with no AC (as in .. never had it, which makes searching for parts a real pain sometimes)
No special mods, no chips, no wings, no frame work... Only a set of wheels off of a 1998 GSR. But there is a reason I am a HUGE Acura fan. You'll notice it when I get to the end of this post.
She has been a wonderful car to me, and still remains. Today, I will be buying 4 new tires for her, and trying to figure out a problem.
Earlier this week, when I returned home from a trip through the nasty midwest snowstorm, I noticed a problem. When I took the key out of the ignition, there was a hesitation in the seat belt motor. No biggie I thought, as it did eventually move all the way forward, and there were no more problems.
However, yesterday, when I went to exit the car, the seat belt moved a little, then a *buzz* from the passenger side footwell, and nothing more.
I am afraid I have killed the seat belt relay. Problem is, I can't seem to find a new (or used) one anywhere. I'm in Cincinnati, and there are a couple parts yards around, but no seat controllers. Will the controllers from any other make/model work? (I know sometimes I can use Legend parts.. or some generic Honda parts)
BTW. The Integra (affectionately known as Kenny, named so by my friends when she died 3x on 3 seperate trips, yet always came back to life the next week) is celebrating her 408th birthday today.
Today is my 31st Birthday, and when I went to get my e-check this morning, the odometer rolled over 408,000 miles.
Yep. 408,000. And she still purrs like a kitten..

Where bouts in Butler county? I grew up in Westchester, (Pisgah actually) and used to work for Domino's in Middletown, Trenton, and Springboro.
Anyways, I should have expected this, but... well it happened.
She passed the e-check with flying colors, and no problems, and when I got in this morning, the seat belts are working just fine. I even took the controller off to check for water damage or anything like that, and nothing. Not even the smell of ozone.
I'm telling ya, it is simply amazing the way this car heals itself. If this happened more often, I would change her name to Christine.
I'm still gonna pick up a backup seatbelt controller though. The best way to make sure I'll never need it, is to have a spare.
Thanks for the replies guys...
