Default Fair Trade?

I have a 95' 4 dr SE teg with about a 100,000 miles. My girl friend has a 98 3.2 TL with about 40,000. She might be willing to trade cars if I rebuild the engine, get all the dents removed and a new paint job and return everything back to stock. Does that sound like a good deal or what?

eh...im not too fond of the 98 TLs. I'd do all that stuff you mentioned and keep the teg.

wow that in no way is a fair trade! The blue book on the teg is just over 5k, and the blue book for the TL is just around 15k. You might want to let her know she'd be getting the short end of the stick...

Oh she knows that but she wants something "sporty" and thinks the TL is "too motherly / soocer mom ". So I'm down for a new(er) car and a nicer car, I think.

I just thought I would see what people thought about that.

I agree. I think she could do better and it's basically a bad idea, in my opinion, to trade a good TL for an old rebuilt and repainted Integra.
