In any FI application, SC or Turbo, the efficiency of the cylinder head, the static CR and the cam profiles must be considered. While the stock B18B cams have less overlap than the B18C1 or B18C5 cams (duh), there is still the issue of the efficiency of the the head design and exhaust, what forms of Intercooling are used, total boost pressure, etc.
All in all, there a heck of a lot of variables, and I'm beginning to lose my train of thought. h: In short, it depends. :chuckles:

turbo > supercharger imo. When im doing some spirited driving im not spending much time in the low - mid power range...im all about high end, engine screaming pedal to the floor driving and thats where the turbo benifits the most. I am also just beginning to look into different types of turbo kits as well but i am looking to do a complete turbo, intake manifold, header, cat, cat back system (also replacing the cams, cam gears and fuel rail) all at once. Does anyone have any idea how much all of this stuff is going to cost?? I was thinking of going with a Hondata ECU, Greddy turbo, skunk2 intake manifold, JDM DC 4-1 head (provided my 2 inch drop wont cause problems), Thermal High-Flo Cat, Thermal Exhaust with 3" piping and AEM cam gears and cams and fuel rail. I have no idea how much all this stuff costs or to have these things installed. Ill prob install everything but the cams, cam gears, fuel rail and turbo by myself and have it all tuned. I was hoping to spend no more than 7 or 8 grand on everything.
