good or bad?

Then again most of my experience comes from having Preludes for 4 years and i know that Ludes hate turbo....this could be different in VTEC Tegs.

From what I've always heard, B18C1 w/ boost > B18B w/ boost.

b18c boosted with 6 psi > b18b boosted with 6 psi
longetivity, lasting wise - (no internal work)
b18c boosted with 6 psi < b18b boosted with 6 psi
reason - b18c1, as you know, has higher compression. b18b1 has lower compression. thus, with a non vtec motor, you can push like, 1-2 more pounds of boost than on a vtec motor, getttig close to or more power than boosted b18c1 at 6 psi. its not to safe to go with more boost with a high compression motor, other wise blowing it up will become more evident. but hey, i dont know shit.
