Default exhaust manifold (red hot)

i own a 95 integra ls. my exhaust manifold is getting to the point where if you look at it at night it is glowing red. it isnt over heating or anything like that but i cant figure out what is wrong with it.
does anyone know anything:wtf: :joshers:

What's your temperature gauge looking like? Wonder if you have enough coolant...

my friends manifold in his civic was glowing like that once because he filled it with diesel h:

more than likely, your catalytic converter is clogged. how many miles? a clogged cat will start backing heat into the manifold.

IIRC, its impossible to do that. Nozzles for diesel pumps are larger than gas pumps, and therefore impossible to fit into a standard gastank.

well...not impossible, just not likely. It could have very well been in a 5 gallon tank in somebody's garage or something. I almost did it once at my bro's house for my dirtbike

I agree with Lawrence. But an easy check would be your coolant like Drumsy said.

If you are running super lean the manifold will glow.
