Only thing I can think of is not having enough oil pressure activate VTEC...

 

A block heater would help your car start in the mornings and also it would help it warm up faster.

 

605-3231 is the napa part # on the one that goes in a freeze plug.

I think that your motor just wasn't warm enough. That happens all the time to me here and it feels gutless. I've religiously warmed up my car before driving it this winter. Just let it run ~5-10 minutes before you leave after it being cold .

 

He says it was warmed up to operating temp :eek3: hnoes:
