Default where are your tweeters?

i finally got around to wiring up my 2nd amp for my component set... the next step is installing them...

i have a little bump in the road, looking for some help.

my car did not come equipped with tweeters and i have no idea where to put them. i dont know how eager i am to cut into my door panels because i might get an ITR or black leather interior at some point down the road and i dont wanna ruin my panels and make them hard to sell....

if your car came without tweeters, where did you end up putting them? pics would be great if you got 'em.

thanks in advance

Mine are in the door panels right now; but , if I could do it over again I would put them by the apillars....I saw a custom job done like that and the quality of sound was entirely better.

im thinking of putting them where my a pillar meets my dash and using some heavy duty 2 sided tape (3m body tape maybe) so i dont have to drill... also that will make wiring a little bit easier cuz i will only have to run 1 set into the door for my component woofer. also that way, if im not happy with the look or sound quality, i can take them off an put them someplace else without leaving scars.

well the pods can go on either side, but they don't make them for tweeters unless you customize it yourself. just make sure to get the proper size.

i mounted mine on the sail panel on the door, man they sounded sweet, and were a perfect fit, no gaps or anything, I had polk silk domes.
