what do you mean by the sail panel? mine are JL audio XR component set... also silk domes and "sticky" tweeters. they sound great.... i cant wait to have them in my car again.

 

the "sail panel" is the black triangular plastic piece that covers the side-view mirror wires.

 

thats how i did it on my g2 but i dont know if they will fit on my 94's

I also mounted mine in the "sails" or I call them "triangles" I will take photos and post them if anyone is interested..

If you still haven't bought your speakers yet, and wanna go for a damn stealth install, get some Alpine 176As (6.5" compontent Type-R speakers). The tweeters are so damn bright that, and I'm not kidding, you can mount them down under the dash on the firewall, and they'll sound great. This was the word from an audio install guy I was talkin too...

 

I do have a bra.. and It is getting on the car.. I know all too well about rock chips.. =/ :/
