Fawkin Sucks!!!! My car got broken into last night. they busted driver side mirror, took my radio, ripped my alarm off, and the ignition is tampered with. I put my key in and nothing happens. about how much or what am i going to need to replace? Obviously, it would be nice to see car, but i was just looking for a ballpark figure or advice if this has happened to someone else?

 

I am not an alarm expert but I do know that the alarm is usually plugged into the harness to or near the stearing column. If they ripped it out the wires going from your ignition to the starter could be disconnected now.

Hey, where in NJ are you? Did it happen at home? Where did it happen. Glad I garage my car at night.

 

MAN THAT SUCKS. MY HOLE CAR GOT JACKED AND STOLE ABOUT 5,000 DOLLARS OFF OF IT SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. THEY BROKE MY WHOLE IGNITION OUT AND JUST STARTED IT WITH A SCREW DRIVER. I BOUGHT A NEW IGNITION FOR LIKE 100 DOLLARS FROM A JUNK YARD AND WENT TO ACURA DEALERSHIP AND HAD ANOTHER KEY MADE FOR IT FOR 6 BUCKS. ITS REALLY EASY TO INSTALL. THERES TWO PLUGS. ONE IS ON YOUR STEERING CONSOLE UNDER THE DASH AND THE OTHER IS COMEING OUT OF THE FUSE BOX OR FIRE WALL SOME WHERE. HOPE THIS HELPED YOU OUT MAN PEACE.
