If you actually took a minute to examine the mounting brackets of those ebay bars, you'll see that they are all cheap peices of shit. If you expect to get any benefit out of those things at all, you're going to need to buy quality parts.

I'm pretty sure Ebay strut bars are made out of cheaper materials that flex more easily although they won't tell you that.

The issue is more in the design of the brackets. The stamped and/or lightly welded designs they use are highly prone to flexing. If the bracket flexes, it doesn't even matter what the bar is made of.

Just get the JDM ITR rear strut bar. Most places have it new for $160 and you can occasionally find a genuine used one on eBay for less. (And I am not talking about the $15 ones...those are fake)

Yea i know exactly what some of you are saying, i bought the front upper strut off ebay and it was the mugen "style" one and it looked good and strong, but to be honest with you guys, it was hell to put in, i dont know why i went cheap and bought it but i did. i ended up having the hit it with a hammer and even then it barely fit. So if anyone is planning to buy off e-bay, dont buy imitation its not worth it and the quality sucks!!!

If you want to pay next to nothing, you'll have to get it on eBay. If you want the real thing, you're going to have to save up man. Sure they look fine, but flex the bar against another high quality bar. You'll notice that the cheaper bar will have a lot more flex. If anything I'd reccomend looking into the Comptech Rear Sway/Tie Bar combo .
