Whats up people,

Sometimes I have a problem when shifting into 1st. For a split second it doesnt allow me to shift. Then I try again and its fine. If i really push it hard it goes in, but I dont think it should take that much force for it to shift into 1st. its 99 model. Its not always happening, but its at the point that its getting annoying now. All the other gears are fine.

HAs anybody had this issue with there Honda/Acura. Could it be my tranny fluid? or is it a mechanical problem. Let me know.

are u rolling when u shift from neutral to first? that can be the problem.. happens to me

 

Well if you are at a dead stop and are in neutral then are trying to put it in first and its hard, what should help is, push in your clutch (without putting it in gear) and then let it out and then push in the clutch again, then put it in gear, it should go in alot easier :-)

 

Don't shift into first until you've come to a complete stop, unless ofcourse you want a new transmission for new years. And if its a problem do what TyPe_R_GuY suggested.
